Travel Information
Redborne School (MK45 2NU) is about 1 mile south of Ampthill town centre and is easily accessible by road, bus and train. It's about 10 mins drive from the M1 motorway and has good links for public transport.
If you're coming by car, there's free parking for hundreds of cars just next to the entrance to our show.

Driving and Parking
If you're driving, please use MK45 2NU, and turn into the school grounds where you see the yellow "Wool Show" signs.
We have loads of parking spaces, including a dedicated disabled parking section. Car Park Marshals will direct you to your space. Please consider travelling with a group of friends for more fun and to help save the planet! 😇
Public Transport
Flitwick Train Station is about 1½ miles away from our venue, and there's a regular bus service from there which stops near the school. Please type “Flitwick train station to Redborne School by bus” into Google, to see all the bus services and timetables. The closest bus stops are "Redborne Upper School" if you're travelling north (i.e from Flitwick to Ampthill), and "Grange Road" if you're travelling south (i.e from Ampthill towards Flitwick).
The main taxi company at Flitwick train station is called A1 Station Taxis and they have a number of vehicles available, from a standard saloon to a mini van. Prices from the train station to the school will be £6 - £8. For more information, please type "Flitwick taxis" into Google.
Alternatively, if you fancy a walk of about 30-35 mins, you can walk the 1½ miles from Flitwick train station to the venue by going north on the High Street (A5120) and following the signs to Ampthill.
There are various bus routes that travel between Bedford and Flitwick on Saturdays (but not Sundays), e.g. the number 42 and the number 68. They stop at "Redborne Upper School" if you're travelling north (i.e from Flitwick to Ampthill), and "Grange Road" if you're travelling south (i.e from Ampthill towards Flitwick).
